Saints unplug Chargers

Isle of Wight Academy’s baseball team played host to the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints on Thursday and lost 9-1.
Saints senior, No.-1 pitcher and Randolph-Macon College commit Greg Beale improved to 3-0 on the year, throwing for five and one-third innings and allowing only three hits.
Offensively, NSA sophomore Sam Neal led the way, going 3-for-4 with three runs batted in. Senior Jake Grady went 2-for-3 with one RBI, and senior Will Breedlove went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Nansemond-Suffolk (5-1, 0-0) hosts Southampton Academy on Monday.
