Isaac J. Blough

Isaac Jacob Blough, 94, passed away March 25, 2014, in Suffolk.

Born in Somerset County, Pa., he was the son of the late Ida and David Blough. He is predeceased by his wife, Edna Virginia T. Blough; and son, Isaac Blough Jr.

Isaac was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He was employed by Kirk Lumber Co. for 30 years as head sawyer. He was a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans and was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Force. Isaac was well known for his special woodworking ability; his specialty was clocks and furniture.

He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Barner (Allen) and Donna Howell (Bennett), both of Suffolk; grandchildren, Scott Blough (Jeannie), Jennifer Griffith, Kelly Barner, Kevin Howell (Valerie), Keith Howell (Rana); great-grandchildren, Callie Blough, Tess Blough, Tyler Howell, Jase Howell, Taylor Howell, Hali Goines and Morgan Goines.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, by the Rev. Ileana Rosario, with burial following at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Friday, March 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, P.O.
