Allie Wittkamp has been promoted to vice president, director of market engagement for TowneBank. She is headquartered at TowneBank’s Member Service Center in Suffolk.

Wittkamp has been a TowneBank employee for nine years. She is a graduate of Amherst College, TowneBank’s 2007 Management Associate Program and the Virginia Banker’s School of Bank Management Class of 2013.

In her new role, Wittkamp will establish and oversee programs that broaden the relationship of current and prospective TowneBank members through enhanced engagement across multiple channels, with particular emphasis on social media.

Active in the community, Wittkamp has been recognized as Hampton Roads Corporate Volunteer Council’s 2013 Representative of the Year, a six-year officer of Hampton Roads Community Health Center and a 2010 Top Forty Under 40 honoree.

With total assets of $4.67 billion as of Dec. 31, TowneBank is one of the largest banks headquartered in Virginia.
