No injuries were reported after a house fire caused heavy damage to a home in the 1400 block of Pinto Court on Thursday afternoon.

Dispatchers received a call at 3:27 p.m. about the fire. They found heavy smoke and fire when they arrived. It was declared under control at 4:22 p.m.

Four adults and three children were displaced and are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross, according to a city press release. The cause of the fire is under investigation from the Suffolk Fire Marshal’s Office.
