The King’s Fork High School girls’ basketball team concluded its regular season on Thursday with a 63-23 defeat of host Lakeland High School. The win pushed the Lady Bulldogs to 19-2 overall and 10-0 in the conference.

Looking back over the season as a whole, KF head coach Maurice Fofana said, “I’m happy with it.”

He pointed to his team’s only losses, coming at a Myrtle Beach, S.C. holiday invitational, as winnable games.

“If we played those same two teams now, it would be a different result,” he said.

The Lady Bulldogs enter the Ironclad Conference tournament as the No. 1 seed. They will host No. 4 Phoebus High School on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. after the Lady Phantoms defeated Lakeland High School on Monday.
