Healing Touch Level 1 will be offered at the office of Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center on March 1-2 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Healing Touch is an international, multi-level educational program in energy-based medicine therapy, and Level 1 includes 16-18 continuing education hours of instruction, allowing individuals with varying backgrounds to develop concepts and skills in energy-based therapy.
Tuition is $363, with discounts available. For a registration form or information, call 560-4744 or email mhstulb@gmail.com.
Healing Touch is also accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA and is endorsed by the American and Canadian Holistic Nurses Association.
Sponsored by Chochma Healing, the class will be instructed by Marilyn Stulb. Stulb has taught healing touch classes at medical facilities as well as making presentations to organizations. She has a private practice, Chochma Healing, and is on the Healing Support Team of DePaul Hospital in Norfolk.
As a 35-year flight attendant, she serves on the US Airways’ Critical Incident Response Team, helping fellow crew members who have experienced trauma.
“Healing Touch is for both medical and lay people and has something to offer everyone, whether it is through learning principles of self healing or developing methods for healing others,” said Stulb. “We are thrilled to have the new status of being certified with the National Commission of Certifying Agencies.”
