Suffolk Public Schools sporting events scheduled for Wednesday have been called off following the announcement that the schools will be closed for the day due to the weather.

Lakeland High School’s home wrestling tri-match including Denbigh High School and Phoebus High School has been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m., according to the school’s website.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s sporting events scheduled for Wednesday have also been called off, according to the school’s website.
