William “Billy” Clifford Morgan III

William “Billy” Clifford Morgan III passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy body dementia.
Bill left us to join his parents, Eloise and Clifford, and his brother, Seth, on Dec. 8, 2013.
He leaves to cherish his love and memories his wife and best friend of 22 years, Cindy, of Suffolk; his son, Brian, of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Anna, Eloise and Teddy; brother, Mike (Marilyn), of Roanoke; and sisters, Lynn, of Suffolk and Susan (Robin), of Morehead City, N.C. He also leaves numerous other family and friends to remember him.
He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran. Bill received his Eagle Scout with Order of the Arrow honor. He spent more than 40 years of his 66 in the construction field.
He enjoyed life, being a NASCAR fan and spending time with family. He also enjoyed skydiving, scuba diving, skiing and motorcycle racing in his younger days.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, from noon to 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Military honors will follow at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Family will receive friends other times at the residence.
