Suffolk police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Saturday at 11:35 a.m. at the Radio Shack in the 6200 block of College Drive.

A subject described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches or 5 feet 11 inches and wearing a yellow hoodie, a Redskins hat, gloves, dreadlocks and a mask entered the store with a sawed-off shotgun, according to Suffolk spokeswoman Diana Klink.

Klink stated in an email that the subject fled the store on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect while he was in the store.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line do not have to give their names or appear in court. If information leads to an arrest, the caller could qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
