Suffolk police on Wednesday made an arrest in a stabbing that sent a Windsor man to the hospital late Tuesday evening.
Benjamin Hassle Wade III, 23, of the 5400 block of Pruden Boulevard, is charged with aggravated assault, robbery and shoot, stab, cut or wound, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.
Emergency dispatchers were notified of the stabbing at 11:31 p.m. by emergency room personnel at Sentara Obici Hospital, where the male victim had been taken after the stabbing.
The victim, 25-year-old Shayne Christopher Blose, of Windsor, had multiple stab wounds about his body, Klink said. He was taken by ambulance to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition Wednesday afternoon following morning surgery.
Klink said the stabbing took place at a residence in the 5400 block of Pruden Boulevard following an alleged physical altercation between the two individuals.
