TowneBank announces promotions

TowneBank, a Suffolk-headquartered bank, has announced the addition and promotion of four staff members.
Bobby Fox has joined TowneBank as vice president. He is a senior credit risk review analyst and is based at the Member Service Center in Suffolk.
Fox has 14 years of experience in the commercial banking industry, most recently serving as senior commercial credit officer for an international bank.
He is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College.
In addition, Laura M. Arcand has been promoted to executive vice president. She is the senior real estate finance lender and is based at the Member Service Center in Suffolk, where she leads a team of bankers handling the banking needs of commercial and residential real estate developers and builders.
Arcand has been with TowneBank for more than five years and has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate banking industry.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond and a master’s degree in business administration from The College of William and Mary.
Caitlin King has been promoted to assistant vice president. A public finance and community reinvestment officer, she is based at the Member Service Center in Suffolk.
A graduate of Virginia Tech, King has been with TowneBank for almost three years.
She is secretary of the Williamsburg-area Meals on Wheels, serves on the board of directors for the R.F. Wilkinson YMCA and is a member of the Young Emerging Professionals of Williamsburg.
Elizabeth Curtin also has been promoted to assistant vice president.
She is a treasury and merchant sales officer and has been with TowneBank for more than five years. She is based at the Member Service Center in Suffolk.
With total assets of $4.6 billion as of June 30, TowneBank is one of the largest banks headquartered in Virginia.
