Mrs. Doris Smith, of 902 Bank St., departed this earthly life on Sept. 3, 2013.

She is survived by her loving husband, Herbert Lee Smith Jr. (Pork Chop); her daughter, Lisa Pray, and son, Herbert Smith Jr. (Emily); along with her three grandchildren, Kenneth Payton III, Dominique Pray and Laila Smith. She will be missed by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A home going service will be held at Tabernacle Christian Church on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at noon with Bishop Carlton Upton Sr. officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Carver Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at Harris Funeral Home Inc., 685 Carolina Road, Suffolk, Friday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Harris Funeral Home.
