Georgia man charged with sex crimes

A Georgia man was arrested Friday based on accusations he had inappropriate physical contact with a juvenile family member while visiting them in Suffolk, according to a city spokeswoman.
Michael Wayne Beck, 66, of Cartersville, Ga., is charged with aggravated sexual battery, taking indecent liberties with a child and penetration of mouth of child with lascivious intent, Diana Klink wrote in an email.
The alleged incident took place on July 21, Klink added.
It remains under investigation.
