Lola Susan Blount, 89, of Suffolk, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Beaufont Health and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Monday, July 29, 2013, at Tabernacle Christian Church officiated by Prelate Bishop Carlton Upton Sr. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Crocker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 102 Hillside Ave. and will assemble there at 11 a.m. Monday for the processional to the church.
