The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control store located at 2815 G. Godwin Blvd. closed July 6 for remodeling. The store will reopen July 23.

The Suffolk store, along with other recently remodeled stores, balances functionality with visual appeal as well as security, maintenance and accessibility for the disabled, according to ABC officials. The newly designed store will feature enhanced shelving allowing for increased product selection.

The ABC store locations at Suffolk West Shopping Center, Bennett’s Creek Shopping Center, Smithfield Square Shopping Center and Windsor Commons Shopping Center will remain open during construction.
