A Suffolk man was arrested last week and charged with alleged assaults on a female family member when she was a teenager.

Travis Lashon McQuillia, 33, is charged with two counts of abduction, forcible rape, forcible sodomy, two counts of object sexual penetration and two counts of indecent liberties with a child by custodian, according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.

The alleged incidents occurred from 2009 to 2012 on Stacy Drive, where the family lived previously, as well as the 2200 block of East Washington Street.

The victim was between the ages of 13 and 17 when the alleged incidents happened, Klink said. McQuillia is being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail.

The investigation continues, Klink added.
