Blanche Jeannette “Jeannie” Goodrich Newbold, 66, of Waverly, passed away June 8, 2013. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory Wakefield Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Burton’s Grove Christian Church with the Rev. David Hensen and the Rev. Randy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeannie’s memory to EVB c/o Mary Annette Dunn or Angie Pond, P.O. Box 47, Waverly, VA 23890 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
