Police seek shooting suspect

Suffolk police are seeking a suspect in a Friday night shooting that injured two people.
A large group of people was gathered in the 100 block of Church Street around 11:40 p.m. when someone drove past and fired several shots into the crowd, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
A female victim was struck in the right ankle, and a male victim suffered a graze wound to his thigh. Both were treated at local hospitals.
No suspect information is available at this time. Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
