Cape Henry sweeps Saints tennis
Cape Henry Collegiate School swept the Saints on Friday, as the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ tennis team lost 9-0 at home.
The win drops NSA to 8-6 overall and 3-1 in conference.
Singles results were as follows:
- Connor Somers (CH) d. Natale Carollo (NS), 6-0, 6-0
- Mason Smith (CH) d. Tucker Firnstahl (NS), 6-0, 6-0
- Chris Armistead (CH) d. Jackson DeMello (NS), 6-3, 6-0
- Andrew Roberts (CH) d. Preston Firnstahl (NS), 6-4, 6-3
- Brian Murry (CH) d. Cameron Bruce (NS), 6-0, 6-0
- Alex Kramer (CH) d. Ryan Witherow (NS), 6-3, 6-3
Doubles results were as follows:

Pony baseball registration underway
Nansemond River Pony baseball Colt division registration is underway at www.nansemondriverpony.org.
Registration is open to children 14-16 years old and costs $90.
