Early hole dooms NSA
Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s boys’ lacrosse team lost 12-5 to host Cape Henry Collegiate School on Thursday after not being able to recover from an early deficit.
Senior Harris Howell, juniors Jacob Edwards and Zach Leitner and freshman Noah Dowd scored for the Saints.
Despite the loss, Howell was excellent in face-offs, and junior goalkeeper Dan Hotte still had a superb game with 21 saves.
NSA will face conference rival Norfolk Academy at home on Tuesday.
