Henry A. Thomas, 68, of 5906 Hawk Lane, Suffolk, Va., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Baltimore, Md., and the son of Eunice Willis and stepfather, William T. Willis, of Suffolk. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Thomas, and brother, Ronald Willis.

He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Carla Reid (Dennis), of Suffolk, Tasha Jenkins (David), of Carrollton and Jacinta Mays (Stacy), of Sanford, N.C.; three sons, Troy Thomas (Cheryl), of Atlanta, Ga., Sutaan Thomas and Micah Thomas, both of Suffolk; four sisters, Sarah Thomas, of Philadelphia, Pa., Patricia Thomas, of Maryland, Tonia Willis, of Suffolk, and Brigitte Townsell (John), of Newport News, Va.; one brother, Michael Willis, of Suffolk; 12 grandchildren; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Mt. Lebanon Church of God In Christ, 1732 Mt. Lebanon Ave., Suffolk, officiated by Pastor John B. Townsell, Pastor Rahbin Willis is the eulogist, Elder Larry Gray, pastor. Entombment will be in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
