Police are investigating the case of a 12-year-old male student who allegedly brought a razor blade to school Monday.

The principal of Turlington Woods did a student search Monday morning and found the razor blade in the boy’s pocket, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.

The student did not brandish the blade or threaten anyone, George said.

The case is still active while an officer secures a petition for the juvenile.
