Annette E. Edwards has joined Eastern Shore Community College as vice president of finance and administration.

Prior to joining the college administration, Edwards served as Human Resources Manager at Paul D. Camp Community College, where she also served as interim vice president of finance and administrative services for two years.

She brings to the Eastern Shore experience in managing human resources, payroll, procurement, bookstore, facilities and grounds, risk management and control, IT, security, and financial aid.

Edwards has more than 20 years of management and leadership experience in business and education settings.

Edwards earned an associate degree in liberal arts from St. Leo College, a bachelor’s degree in business and management from the University of Maryland and an MBA from American InterContinental University.

She is a member of the American Association of University Women, Virginia Community College Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.

Edwards is married and has two adult children.
