The city of Suffolk is looking for volunteers to help with its Christmas-themed “Holiday Parade,” set for Dec. 8.

The Department of Parks and Recreation plans a “Holidays in Toyland” theme this year.

Volunteers will assist with the parade staging area and line-up organization, keeping the parade on pace, ensuring proper spacing of the units and collecting and recording citizen feedback.

A volunteer meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at the East Suffolk Recreation Center, 138 S. Sixth St.
