Suspects sought in alcohol theft

Suffolk police are seeking help from the public identifying suspects in a burglary at an Alcoholic Beverage Control store that occurred during Hurricane Sandy.
Three offenders entered the store at 6550 Hampton Roads Parkway just after 4 a.m. on Oct. 28, according to a city press release. One of them broke the glass on the front door, and they proceeded to put several bottles of alcohol into their backpacks. They then exited through the front door and fled to the rear of the building and into a nearby neighborhood, according to the release.
One suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt with a gray Under Armour logo on it, as well as gray gloves and a black cloth over his face. He carried a blue backpack with black trim.
The other suspect wore a white or light gray hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
