SUNBURY, N.C. — Anne Rountree Wiley Perry, 76, formerly of U.S. Hwy. 158, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City.

Mrs. Perry was born in Suffolk, Va., and was the daughter of the late Manley Edward Rountree Sr. and Oria Parker Rountree Smith. A retired bookkeeper, she was a member of Somerton United Methodist Church, Suffolk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Phillip Rountree, Holmes Rountree and Manley E. Rountree Jr.

Surviving are her daughter, Lennette Perry Ventura, of Hobbsville; two sons, Jimmy Wiley and wife Sandra, of Ahoskie, and Jackie Wiley and wife Darlene, of Hobbsville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Somerton United Methodist Church by the Rev. Grover C. Branton and Pastor Frank Carter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main St., Gatesville, and other times at the home of her son, Jackie, 348 Hobbsville Road, Hobbsville.
