Felicia Blow of Franklin has been named the Outstanding Alumni Award winner for Strayer University.
Blow serves as the vice president for institutional advancement at Paul D. Camp Community College in Franklin. Previously, she served for eight years as the director of public affairs at Cox Communications and for 18 years as the director of public relations and marketing for the Southeastern Public Service Authority.
Motivated by her desire to further her professional development and achieve personal academic goals, Blow earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Strayer University in 2009, graduating with a 4.0 grade point average.
“I went to Strayer University, because I never wanted to live my life with regret,” said Blow. “Earning an MBA with a 4.0 grade point average has helped me excel in all areas. The knowledge and skills I learned reinforced the knowledge I had and gave me the self-confidence I needed to advance my career.”
Blow received her bachelor’s degree in mass media arts from Hampton University.
The Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes a highly accomplished Strayer University graduate who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in his or her professional, public and personal life.
