Mrs. Rose M. “Cowgirl Rose” Ferris, 65, from Suffolk, passed away on Oct. 1, 2012, in Dowelltown, Tenn. A private ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at the home of her daughter, Suzzie Lassiter, 20706 Murphy Mill Road, Windsor, Va. RSVP by Oct. 30 by calling 357-9975.
