Andrew Lee Vaughan Jr., 67, of 112 Oak St., Suffolk, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at his residence. He was a native of Suffolk and the son of Helen Robinson and the late Andrew Lee Vaughan Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother, James McDonald.

He was retired as a machine operator at Planters Peanuts (Kraft Food).

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Angela Williams and Brandy Holland, both of Suffolk; one son, William Carroll, of Suffolk; four sisters, Helen Green and Annie Bell, both of Suffolk, Brenda Vaughan, of Suffolk, and Eugenia Muckerson, of Newport News, Va.; five brothers, Morris Vaughan, of Baltimore, Md., John Vaughan (Carolyn), Michael McDonald (Melissa), both of Suffolk, James McDonald (Sarah), of Nashville, Tenn., and Windell McDonald (Desiree), of Savannah, Ga.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at East End Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Mark Croston. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 529 County St., Apt. B., and 831 Brook Ave., where they will assemble at 1 p.m. for the procession to the funeral.
