Timothy Thomas of Suffolk has been admitted to Alvernia University for the fall semester. Thomas is majoring in Biochemistry.

Thomas’s college experience began with an Orientation Day of Service on Aug. 24, when 430 new students joined faculty and staff to clean up playgrounds in the city of Reading, Pa., to give children there a safe place to play, learn, and grow.
