SUFFOLK — Rolland L. Russell, 32, of 10972 Ellis Road, Suffolk, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012.  He was born in Franklin, Va., to Reginald Sr. and Deborah Russell. Rolland was a 1997 graduate of Lakeland High School in Suffolk.

Rolland is survived by his parents and brother, Reginald Jr.  He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Lavony A. Russell, of Suffolk.

The funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Laurel Hill United Church of Christ, 8001 S. Quay Road, Suffolk, Va., at 1 p.m. Viewing at the church will take place prior to the service beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going services.
