Chowan University announces students on dean’s list

Chowan University last week officially announced the Spring 2012 semester’s Dean’s List honorees. Those on the Dean’s List have accomplished a grade-point average between 3.25 and 3.79 for the semester. This distinction for full-time students will become part of their official record. The following students were recognized:
- Terese Elam, a senior elementary education major from Windsor
- Danielle Hemmis, a freshman criminal justice law enforcement major from Suffolk
- Jennifer Humphrey, a freshman social studies education major from Suffolk
- Sarah Hurst, a junior English major from Carrsville
- Amy Joyner, a senior criminal justice major from Suffolk
- Jasmine McDonald, a junior elementary education major from Suffolk
- Shelby Pendleton, a junior English major from Suffolk
- Michael Polhemus, a senior physical education major from Windsor
- Sally Rensch, a senior elementary education major from Carrsville
- Becca Roberts, a freshman in allied health biology from Suffolk
- Lauren Story, a senior business administration accounting major from Carrsville
- Scott Van Eck, a senior graphic design major from Windsor
