LPW leader earns appointment

Judy O’Toole Raymond, executive director of Lake Prince Woods retirement community, has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors of Virginia Association of Nonprofit Homes for the Aging.
Raymond has been with Lake Prince Woods since September 2010 and has 25 years experience in long-term care and senior services. She has held administrative and leadership positions in continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and health care facilities.
A graduate of Salisbury State College, Raymond also completed the VANHA/VCU CCRC Executive Leadership course. She is a licensed nursing home administrator and a preceptor for nursing homes and assisted living facilities and a certified therapeutic recreation specialist.
Raymond is a member of the Suffolk Rotary Club and has volunteered with the Hospice Alliance, the VANHA Education Committee, and the Virginia Beach Relay for Life.
