The Children’s Center has unveiled a new logo that continues with the familiar rainbow theme, but with a more modern look to suggest movement.
The three-colored rainbow includes a font used for the name that is more child-like.
“Although we knew the Children’s Center logo was quite recognizable, it was time we took a step back and looked at where we were going,” said Jeff Zeigler, community relations coordinator. “After quite a bit of research and two branding focus groups, we decided to make some changes. At the same time, research suggested that we keep the continuity of the rainbow.”
The center changed the logo after writing a new marketing plan and conducting branding research. Focus groups were conducted by Cindy Thomason of Millview Consulting of Franklin.
Laura Robb of RedDesign Web and Print Room of Suffolk designed the logo. Robb is a Children’s Center alumna.
“We were really excited to work with Laura because of her connection with the Children’s Center,” Zeigler said. “It turned out to be a great relationship. Laura really captured what we were after and designed the logo quickly and efficiently.”
The logo will be rolled out in stages over the next few months.
