Suffolk police on Thursday arrested 50-year-old twin brothers after allegedly finding thousands of bootlegged DVDs in their Chisholm Lane home.
Morris and Norris Harris are charged with knowingly selling and manufacturing illegal recordings and conspiracy to commit a felony.
According to a press release from the city, the two Neighborhood Enforcement Teams and the Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at the home in the 600 block of Chisholm Lane.
They were acting on information gathered regarding illegal DVD sales, according to the release.
Once inside, officers allegedly discovered more than 5,000 illegally produced DVDs, along with computer systems set up to make the DVDs.
They also allegedly discovered the manufacture of illegal perfumes going on inside the residence, the release said.
In addition to the illegal materials, police allegedly seized $1,300 in cash, a 2003 BMW, an Apple iPad 2 and other electronics.
