Gymnasts compete in nationals

Members of the World Class Gymnastics Level 9 team had a great showing last weekend at the Level 9 Eastern National Championships in Landover, Md., placing two gymnasts in the top 10 All Around and earning several top-three event finishes.

Results were as follows:

Taylor LeMoal — 5th vault 9.45, 7th bars 9.1, 3rd floor 9.425, 10th all around 36.225

World Class Gymnastics — 1st place team Region 7 – 148.0

Senior 4

Jessica Myers — 9th bars 9.1, 5th beam 9.05

World Class Gymnastics — 3rd place team Region 7 – 145.975

Junior 6

Emma Sears

World Class Gymnastics — 1st place team Region 7 – 147.625

Junior 5

Taylor Miezejeski — 5th vault 9.5, 8th bars 9.2, 10th floor 9.25

World Class Gymnastics — 3rd place team Region 7 – 147.575

Junior 4

Hope Nelson, 8th bars 9.275, 2nd floor 9.425, 8th all around 36.575

World Class Gymnastics — 1st place team Region 7 – 148.075

 

Members of the organization’s Level 4 team headed to Hampton last weekend for the Virginia USAG Level 4 State Meet.

Results were as follows:

Age 14 & up

Hannah Williams — 3rd all around 34.7

Age 11-Sr.

Caila Carlstrom — 3T bars 9.3, 2nd floor 9.575

Age 11-Jr.

Catherine Nicely — 1st vault 9.6, 1st floor 9.475, 3rd all around 37.175

Age 8-Jr.-1

Emma Adams — 2nd bars 9.35, 3rd vault 9.4, 3rd beam 9.275, 3rd all around 37.3

Age 7-Sr.

Tori McLean — 3rd beam 9.6

Age 7-Jr.-1

Georgia-Claire Gilmore — 3T beam 9.5, 3rd all around 37.525

Jamison Sears — 1st floor 9.75
