NSA golf gets an easy win

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy golf team posted an easy victory over Portsmouth Christian on Monday at Sleepy Hole Golf Course.
The Saints posted a 317-340 victory on the 18-hole, par-72 course.
Portsmouth Christian’s Adam Peebles shot a 72 to become the medalist.
The Saints were led by freshman Zach Roberts, who shot 76, and eighth-grader Thomas Meyers, who shot 78. Keith Cooper shot 81 and Stuart Brazil shot 82 to complete the Saints’ score.
Nansemond-Suffolk hosts Steward School on Wednesday at Sleepy Hole for a nine-hole match. The Saints are now 13-3 (6-2 TCIS).
