Golf tournament set

The Gamma Xi Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. will host its 16th annual golf tournament May 19 at Sleepy Hole Golf Course. Proceeds from this event will benefit the chapter’s scholarship fund, as well as its social action projects throughout south Hampton Roads.
The four-person best ball (captain’s choice) event has an entry fee of $75 per golfer. Individuals not already on a team will be assigned on site.
Sign-in begins at 11 a.m., the driving range opens at noon and there’s a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
There will be a wide range of prizes, as well as drawings and a silent auction. Included is an opportunity to putt for $5,000 cash, and there are four holei-in-one prizes. A select player will get an opportunity to try for $1 million on a selected 165-yard hole.
