Betsy Pollard recently was awarded the 2012 David Carr Glover Scholarship by the Tidewater Music Teachers Forum. She performed in front of a panel of judges and submitted a written response on what music means to her to earn the $250 award. Betsy’s piano teacher is Joan Edwards. Betsy is a fifth-grader at Isle of Wight Academy. She lives with her parents, Lou and Bill Pollard, in Suffolk.
