Mr. Rufus E. Boone Sr., 70, of 604 County St., Suffolk, Va., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at his residence. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at noon at Greater Virginia-Carolina Temple Family Worship Center, 5500 Carolina Road, Suffolk, Va., with Elder Alexander Cheatham officiating. Mr. Boone will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the home of the deceased. Rivers Community Funeral Home is expressing sympathy through sincere service to the Boone family.
