A Child Abuse Prevention Golf Tournament will be held on April 13, 2012 at Nansemond River Golf Club. The event is sponsored by Joyner Gray Yale Ruritan Club.

Proceeds will be returned to the community through programs to support child abuse prevention.

The cost is $75 per player, $300 per four-player team. The organization is also selling hole sponsorships. Registration begins at noon with a shotgun start 1 p.m.

A meal of barbecue, cole slaw, baked beans and hushpuppies is included in the fee.
