The parents of Angela Danielle Hines and Kevin Wayne Weller are pleased to announce their engagement.

Miss Hines is the daughter of Debra and Steve McIntosh, of Suffolk, and Thomas G. Jr. and Amy Hines, of Smithfield. She is the granddaughter of Thomas G. and Marion C. Hines, of Suffolk, and the late Sallie D. and Eugene W. Langley, of Newport News.

Angela is a graduate of Nansemond River High School in Suffolk and received her Animal and Poultry Science degree from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Angela resides in Philadelphia, Penn., and is employed as a research specialist for the College of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Weller is the son of Kenneth and Wendy Weller, of Carlisle, Penn. He is the grandson of the late Cecil and Lena Weller, of Perry County, Penn., and the late Austin and Dorothy Naugle of Cumberland County, Penn. Kevin is a graduate of Carlisle High School in Carlisle, Penn., and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech. Kevin resides in Philadelphia, Penn., and is employed as a medical technologist for Quest Diagnostics.

A Sept. 29, 2012, wedding is planned at The Glass House winery in Free Union, Virginia.
