Suffolk police are following leads on a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning.
Officers in the area of Wilson Street heard gunshots about 2:44 a.m. and got a report of a man who had been shot, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
When they arrived, a 20-year-old male was found suffering from numerous wounds to his left arm, right thigh, hip and groin area.
He was taken by ground to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was listed in good condition as of Monday afternoon, according to a Sentara spokeswoman.
“Police are following up on some possible leads,” George said.
