Police seek credit card thief

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who has used a stolen credit card in several locations, including a liquor store in Suffolk.
The victim told police she lost her credit card on Sept. 22 at the Wilco convenience store at 3260 Western Branch Blvd. in Chesapeake, according to a press release from the city.
Whoever picked up the card has been on quite a shopping spree throughout the region. It was used in Suffolk, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Midlothian and Richmond on Sept. 23-24.
Police are releasing photos taken from a surveillance video on Sept. 23 at the ABC Store at 6550 Hampton Roads Parkway in Suffolk. The suspect purchased liquor at the store, according to the press release.
Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
