Suffolk police are looking for two suspects in a Saturday armed robbery at a convenience store.
An employee was stocking shelves at the Holiday Food Store on Carolina Road when two men entered the business about 8:30 p.m. When the woman turned around, she saw one man holding a rifle or a shotgun and demanding money from the register. A second man was behind the counter putting cigarettes into a bag.
The robbers took money form the register and fled on foot, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
Nobody was injured during the robbery.
The suspects are described as two black males, both wearing blue or black hooded sweatshirts, black pants and black shoes.
