Suffolk firefighters responded to a fire at a Progress Road coffee plant on Tuesday afternoon.

The fire at Sara Lee Foodservice/Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA, Inc. was reported at 3:51 p.m. It was reported under control about an hour later.

It was determined that the fire was restricted to the dust collection area of the facility, according to a city news release. Firefighters ventilated smoke from the building after the fire was extinguished.

Employees evacuated the building, and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

A manager on scene said he had no comment on the fire.
