Lady Saints having ‘Dig Pink’ game

Nansemond-Suffolk’s girls volleyball team is hosting a “Dig Pink” Game on Thursday, Oct. 13 when the Lady Saints take on defending state champion Cape Henry at 6:30 p.m.
The game will raise money for breast cancer research. Some of the Lady Saint players and coaches will be having their ponytails cut off before the game for donations to Locks of Love, an organization that provides hairpieces for children suffering illnesses resulting in long-term hair loss. There will be a hair donation station set up for anyone else wanting to make a donation.
The Lady Saints have a 14-5 record and are ranked No. 3 in the state in Virginia Independent Schools, Div. I. Cape Henry is ranked No. 2 in VIS, Div. II.
