Edward Michael Laine, 54, of Norfolk, Va., passed away Sept. 4, 2011.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Charles W. Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Suffolk Chapter, 604 Constance Woods Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434.
