I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for your coverage of Hurricane Irene. My family and I left Suffolk on Friday to ride out the storm in Richmond. I was able to stay abreast of what was happening at home thanks to your periodic e-mails.

I know it could not have been easy to do, considering most of Suffolk had to deal with power outages and much of Downtown experienced flooding, and I wanted to say thank you for your commitment and service to the residents of Suffolk.
