KF Summer League pits teammates against each other

One Bulldog basketball squad was going to advance and one would be done for the season on Tuesday during the first night of tournament play in the King’s Fork Summer Boys Basketball League.

In the end, there was no surprise about which was which. King’s Fork A, mostly made up of returning varsity veterans, beat its younger running mates, King’s Fork B 64-35.

Of course the whole point of the summer league, even during the tourney during the last two nights of the league, is about gaining experience ahead of the upcoming high school season. It’s then easy to argue the younger Bulldogs gained more out of the contest.
